Information we collect
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from applications and other forms you complete, from your transactions with us and our agents, and from consumer reporting agencies where permitted by law. Our website itself does not require you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it
We use your information to underwrite and service your policy, process claims and payments, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations as an Iowa 518A mutual insurance association. We share information with our reinsurer, service providers (such as our payment processor), and regulators only as needed for those purposes or as required by law.
Online payments
Online premium payments are processed by IMT Apps on its own secure website. Payment card and bank details entered there are collected by the payment processor, not by GFMutual, and are subject to the processor’s privacy practices.
Safeguards
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to employees and agents who need it to provide products and services to you, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect it.
